Order RRABL Gear and Raise Funds for your TeamThe Red River Adult Baseball League has partnered with FanCloth to provide
fans and players of the RRABL with apparel featuring the league logo and name. These items allow players and fans the opportunity to show support for our league, while raising public awareness about our organization. The best part is, FanCloth will donate $4 of every sale back to the league as a fundraiser. The league will keep track of how many items are purchased by our individual teams and pass the raised funds back from FanCloth directly to each team. For example: Team A sells 100 items. FanCloth will donate $4 per item ($4 x 100) and give the league $400. The league will then pass that $400 on to Team A. We must sell 39 total items as a league to be able to place an order. Available items include the following: iPhone covers, short sleeve, long sleeve, V-neck and raglan style shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, batting practice and fleece jackets, performance polo, shorts and hats, and a rhinestone fitted tee for women. Sizes range from small to 3XL in most items. Prices range from $15 to $41. Fill out the order form below and make checks for your total order to Red River Baseball. If we don't get at least 39 items sold, all checks will be refunded. Teams, ask your fans and friends to order items if you need to raise money for uniforms or equipment. February 13, 2013
The Red River Adult Baseball League would like to extend our hearts and prayers to the family and friends of former league member Danny "Huff" Huffstickler. Danny passed away on Tuesday, February 12, at the age of 55, after a courageous battle with ALS - Lou Gehrig's Disease. Danny was one of the original members of the Shreveport-Bossier Men's Senior Baseball League when it was founded in 1993. He will be missed by many. Danny attended Southwood High School where he collected numerous awards and honors for his accomplishments on the baseball field. He went on to play at both East Texas Baptist and Baptist Christian University. After his junior year, Danny was drafted by the Boston Red Sox. His minor league career was highlighted by a .300 season in 1979 while playing for the Elmira Pioneers of the New York-Penn League. He went on to become a coach after his playing career had ended. In 2011, Huff and his family began an annual fundraiser in the Shreveport-Bossier area to help find a cure for ALS. The yearly Tuff Huff Co-Ed Softball Tournament to help strike out ALS is played at Cargill Park and many current and former RRABL and SBMSBL members participate. -David Pratt President RRABL State Farm Agent Julie Henderson 2013 Sponsor
